CADA ON-CALL COURTYARD

public agency
SACRAMENTO, CA | 2022

Miridae is the on-call landscape architect for the Capitol Area Development Authority (CADA) and has designed a handful of projects and counting for the public agency, including streetscape and courtyards for their affordable housing units. This courtyard design transforms a compacted dirt yard into a vibrant community space, habitat, and rain garden. The design integrates two new seating areas, defined by social and solitary spaces, and connects the various apartment building entrances.
